Ashamed to be British…

I promised myself that I wouldnt resort to expletives in my posts…. but my patience has worn out…

The British Government is a fucking disgrace, theres no other way to say it.

British soldiers are the best in the world, and thats not an over exageration. They train hard and take their jobs seriously, they manage to overcome not only the conditions they face in the field, but an unbelievable lack of support from a government that repeatedly sends them into harms way, with sub standard equipment.

25 years ago, we were buying our own gear because the stuff we were issued was crap and here we are in 2006, whats changed?… nothing, nothing at all. Why are soldiers who recieve a pitifull wage constantly putting their hands in their own pockets to buy the gear they need to do their jobs? Why? I am ashamed to be British, our government promotes questionable policies to dish out money left and right to people who quite honestly dont deserve it, whilst the only generation of people in recent history who actually sacrificed something in our counties past, service members from the WWII generation are kicked out of nursing homes, and the current generation of soldiers are left with their asses hanging out in places that these despicable government officials would never dream of setting foot.

Our government has sent servicemen to Afghanistan once again, so far 6 have been killed in a month, they cannot be resupplied because the vehicles they have deployed with have no armour so they cannot move for the fear of roadside IED’s. They are fighting in 50 degree heat and are running out of water, the little they have is being rationed. If it was so staggeringly pittiful it would be funny, but my sense of humour with these retarded, overpaid fucking idiots has run out.

You are a disgrace, from top to bottom our government is a mess. Continue focusing on whats important Tony… doleing money to the hands out does fuck all generation and minority causes that have done nothing to support our once great country. You and they are just parasites, sucking the life out of a country that is a shadow of its former self and very soon may exist in name only.

A very pissed off Brit who feels very sorry for his countrymen who continue to sacrifice, but are unsure why any longer…
